This weekend I took a workshop for Alex and Julia Caprara that run the Opus school of Textile Art. The workshop was called "EXPLORING PERSONAL CREATIVITY".
Imagine this. 14 crazy embroidery ladies in a 250 year old farm house for three days. Add 10 minutes walking distance to the beach! Great food and wine! Sunshine! And the most important thing of all, excellent tutors! Doesn't it sound like fun?
And this is what came out of it!
These are some of the drawings and paintings I did. The big fabric piece is just pined together. I'm still working on the design.
We also painted on fabric with acrylic paint.
We used clay to make 3D forms.
Everyone who took the workshop was invited to show their finished pieces at an exhibition in Gothenburg in August. So now Sara and I better get to work.
