TIF

The Take It Further concept this month is "Do you ever notice the little things, the small moments, the details in life? This months challenge is to do just that, pay attention to the tiny details. Sometimes the small things become emblematic for something larger."

One of the best ways to pay attention to details that I know is to draw. So for me the March challenge will be to draw an everyday item every day. Todays drawing:

Still working on my February piece. I'll wait and show you when it's finished. So many stitches so little time...

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

What a great response to the challenge! I agree, drawing makes you really LOOK and take notice!

I agree. This is such a great idea! I wish I'd thought of it. I look forward to seeing your drawing each day. It will help open my eyes to the everyday details of my life as well.

I like your idea very much! I may try the same sort of thing ... but use stitch patterns. Not too original, but I'm still working on both Feb and January, so obviously I can't get big projects done. LOL

Drawing is a great way to observe and to concentrate. I've been doing it more than I used to, but I should do it even more. Good luck with yours!

Such a good idea - every time I draw something, I learn more about it in a way that words don't describe. My first reaction to this idea was to try it myself, but I've been doing new embroideries each morning and I'd like to try to stay with that for as long as it lasts. I'll post some of the new things later today. Cheers!
