This months TIF challenge is "What do you call yourself and why?" I could go on and on and on... But I decided to keep it simple. Less is more! I agree with Sharon that it's important that we find the words to talk about what we do. At the same time I think that when you define yourself you also put up boundaries so you need to be very careful with the words you chose.
The most important thing for me is that I have a sense of where I'm going. The reasons I work visually is that it allows me to express something that is beyond words, at least for me.
This is the piece I have done for this months challenge.
"Beyond Words"
Silk and wool that I punched together and stitched by hand.
Size 15 x 13 cm
