Squares

Here's a needlefelted piece I made a couple of weeks ago. It's wool and white cheesecloth. For the stitching I used white cotton thread. I'm really happy with the surface on the cheesecloth.


Last weekend at the workshop we had a few minutes each for a personal tutorial. This was one of the things I brought. Would you like to know what Julia Caprara said? She thought I should buy an embellisher! LOL! Now why didn't I think of that...


I think the back of this piece is rather interesting too. I like the tiny white loops that are sticking out of the wool.

It's lovely. The cheesecloth really lightened up the wool colors.

love this piece!! the cheesecloth makes a great surface for felting...would never have thought of that. are you hand stitching on top? can't really tell by the photos.
