Yesterday this blog had a make-over. I've used a yellow background since I started blogging. It was time for a change. New background, new header and a new icon. What do you think? I also updated my blogroll. There are so many lovely blogs out there. I haven't been able to read blogs and participate as much as I'd liked the last months. To tell the truth I haven't done a lot of stitching either.
However I have noticed all the lovely work that is being done with embellishers lately. To get some inspiration I joined the Embellisher Network. Then I found two more ning groups focusing on feltmaking and embellishers, Machine Felting Arts and Embellish Stitch Enrich. Is it greedy to join all three? There is great people and wonderful work being done in all three groups.
Anyway, today I took my embellisher out and had a go. This is what I've done so far. Now it's time to add some stitches. It feels great to spend an entire day not having to think about anything but fabric, wool, colour and texture!

I like the new look Annica. Hope to get your ATC done sometime in the next week.

Nice makeover, and even nicer to have your pic.
Your embellisher piece looks great already, very much like you. I mean, like what you do.
Stop posting pictures from Gotland, I won't be able to resist for next year :-)
fresh new look! I'm still working on getting an embellisher, fingers crossed xx
Just discovering your lovely blog. I have only needle felted by hand. I didn't know about embellisher machines until about four days ago! Now I want one. :)
I love the new look too - and the updated blogroll too. Great Atc - the embellisher is fun to play with isnt it!
Great new look! Love the embellished piece - I'm sure it's not greedy to join all three groups - it's just hard to keep up with all of them. =0)
Like your embellisher piece.
Great work Annica,
Wow! Your new look is just great! I love the header! I loved the old one too though! I haven`t done any felting for ages either but today I spent hours surfing around all the felting blogs out there. Very inspiring. Now I must go check out the networks you mentioned.
