Almost done now!

Pack, carry (=backpain), clean, drive, carry (third floor, no lift), saying words I don't want to write here... unpack, clean... go to IKEA, carry (trust me you don't want to know what I said...) drive, carry some more (the stairs remember), unpack, put together bookcases, clean... Almost done now! This is what my new workroom/artroom/sewingroom looks like so far.

My cold is gone and I have had time to do some stitching. The Swedish Embroiderers Guild is going to show stitched postcards at the equivalent to The Knitting and Stiching show that is taking place here in Stockholm in November. I have made 14 postcards and no 15 is on it's way. Here are three of them.

Yep, me too. I want to come and live in that room: gorgeous and functional and space to create in. So happy for you.

Snap! I've got the very same shelving units from Ikea.
Yours look so much tidier than mine do though :)

Good to hear you are almost done, and that you are back to embroidery!
Your studio looks great, I'm sure you'll love it.
When I read the other comments I was visualizing all of us coming at the same time to your place and playing around in your studio. :-)

The end result must surely have been worth the hard words and back pain, the studio looks fabulous, I like the cards too.

Cheers,
Robin
