November this and that

This weekend - Mother in hospital.
Last weekend - Drove 850 kilometres to see my sister and her family. Was in an accident, another car drove into me. No injuries just a few scratches.
Weekend before that - The stitching show.

I always though of November as a rather grey and dull month. Nothing particular going on and everyone is waiting for December and all the Christmas stuff. This year everything is just going crazy!

The Mother in hospital story isn't really bad but bad enough... We have had a lot of snow and cold this week and my Mother managed to slip and fall on an icey spot. Now she's in hospital with a hip fracture. The fracture is complicated and she's going through her second surgery tomorrow. Please send her some happy, healing thoughts!

The good news this week has been all the beautiful postcards that has arrived in the mail. I swaped some of the cards I made for the stitching show and this is what these lovely ladies send me.

From Linda in Australia.

From Genie in England.

From Corryna in the Netherlands.

From Robin in Australia.

From Lorenza in Italy.

From Lise in Norway.

Swaping is so much fun! Thank you!

Have a great week!

I also hope your mother is better soon. And that she can join you all in December, especially with the holidays.

I saw all the cards you received. They are wonderful! I also like swaping cards. It is so nice to see what others create and how they combine colours etc.

And Yes, I would like to trade an ATC with you, but I have to make some new once, so it might take some time, before that is ready.

Hei Annica! Det var mange bekymringer på en gang. Tror vi er i den samme "klubben" alt for mange helseproblemer og sykehusinnleggelser her også. La oss satse på at desemer blir en bedre måned!!

Hope your mom is doing better. And I'm so glad that the accident was not worse. The new cards are a bright spot though and I think maybe you need that happy spot right now. Things will turn around..just keep smiling!

Hi Annica!
I'm so sorry to hear about your accident and your mother's hospitalization. I hope you are all recovering. As you likely know, I haven't really been reading any blogs at all lately but am completely engrossed in CYBER FYBER. The exhibition is coming along WONDERFULLY! For the remainder of the month I'll likely be blogging about it on the CYBER FYBER journal and just letting my personal blog sit rather idle! I can hardly wait to see your work hanging at Gallery 80808. I'll write as soon as it arrives here in South Carolina!
