Ship ahoy!

All Aboard!

A couple of weeks ago I went on an embroidery cruise with the Swedish Embroiderers Guild. We travelled through the Swedish and Finish archipelago.

We started off with a Champagne Breakfast. I have to say that Champagne and Embroidery goes very well together ;-). After that we went upstairs for the workshop.

Everyone had a copy of the lyrics of a wellknown Swedish song called Calle Schewens vals. The lyrics describe the archipelago and we could use it for inspiration. I picked a sentence that translates something like My fairy you are dancing in listening silence.

Size 30 cm x 40 cm

Ja det kan jag tänka mig att Champange och broderi kan gå väl ihop, jag ser ju hur lätt dina stygn dansar :-)

Archipellago, champagne, nice ladies, embroidery and apparently good weather. You're sure it was for real, not a dream?
Your fairy is very good.
I know what I will dream of tonight...
