I'll watch your progress with interest. It can become addictive.

gosh, how wonderful is that....
my neighbours sit for hours outside their homes and crochet with hooks that are the size of sewing needles..I will try one day...they make edgings for tablecloths etc

Hi Annica
I have been making bobbin lace for 20 years this October (Needle lace for 15 years) and I fly to Tasmania this Wednesday to teach "Wire bobbin lace and Free bobbin lace and Venetian Gros Point Needle lace then to Melbourne to teach the Wire and Free ones .... if you ever have any questions feel free to ask .... I have been on the Australian Lace Guild WA Branch committee on and off for many years and attend the annual lace conference week each year and have done lots of workshops in all different types of lace... In July I am off to Japan to the International Lace Congress that is being held there :-) Oh and I have been hand painting and selling lace bobbins since 1991!- it funds my lace habit hehe!
Cheers Britt in West Australia
