Going green

I realised I haven't been posting any pics for Project Spectrum in a while. We're still working on green, yellow and pink.
I woke up yesterday with a sore throat. It's a little bit better today but I'm heading back to bed. When I was a child my grandmother always said that icecream is good for a sore throat. I'll stick with that remedy :-).

There's a new group on Flickr for Fabric/Textile ATCs. I've had a great time browsing through all these little pieces of art.


Today I made three new ATCs that are available for trade. You'll find some more pictures on Flickr.

Pink Tag and Spider's Wheels

I'm back on the tag track! First I needlefelted pink and white wool then I added some handstitching, running stitch and buttonhole stitch. The TAST stitch this week is Spider's Wheels, whipped and woven. I've tried one of each. The top wheel is whipped and the bottom one is woven.

At Project Spectrum we're working on pink, yellow and green for another month. So this should fit right in. And don't forget to stop by at the Art Tag group on Flickr. There's a lot of great tags to see.

For Project Spectrum.

Green...

One of the colours at Project Spectrum right now is green. I took this picture last summer at Capellagården on Öland, an island on the swedish east coast.

Capellagården is a wellknown arts and crafts school here in Sweden. I went there last summer for a six-day workshop in resistdyeing and silkpainting.

I don't think I need to tell you what a wonderful time I had. You know don't you:-)...

Picture number two for Project Spectrum. I am having a lot of fun going through all my pictures looking for grey.


This is a picture of a cliff on Marstrand, an island on the swedish westcoast.

I love grey! It is such a moderate and humble colour. And it makes all the other colours sparkle and glow.


I took this picture last summer. It fascinates me to see how light and shade can create so many different hues.

Today is the first day of Project Spectrum 2.0. I am looking forward to participating in this challenge very much. It will also be great to see what everyone else will be doing. So far 943 people has sign up. Amazing! Now all I have to do is to figure out how to use blue, white and grey.
