Never ending story...

I bet you thought I couldn't possibly have any more pictures of resist dyed fabric, didn't you. Well, I do...

There's more on Flickr.

I decided to join a online group called The Artist's Muse started by SueB. This group is based on a book called The Artist's Muse written by Betsy Dillard Stroud. Together we will read and discuss the book and use the deck of cards that comes with the book to come up with art challenges.

The first thing we're going to do is a personal mandala. A mandala is a symbolic image that should help you focusing your attention. I belive that's an excellent way to start for a group like this! So far I've made the background. It's gouache on paper.

Your pieces of resist dyed fabric are splendid. I really like the top two.
I must start on my mandala this weekend. I think this group will be very inspirational.

This mandala is our life, in each part of it, we have to learn and to grow.
Your dyed fabrics are great. I also love to dye and print fabric.
