Not a Mandala...

I've been writing about The Artist Muse group before and the first challenge that was to make a mandala. I started painting the background for my mandala on paper but then I changed my mind and made my mandala on the computer.

The unfinished painting have been laying around for a few days. I came up with this shape. It's a circle that is opening up and turning into a flower bud. Then I was stuck again. Terri gave me the advice to just leave it for a while and she was right. Thanks Terri!

Yesterday, all of a sudden, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my painting. I decided that the flower shape is a vessel and inside of it there's a little plant growing. The plant is a symbol for my creative endeavours. The leafs are heartshaped because I truly feel that being creative is an act of love. Next to the vessel is my guardian angel, watching over me.
