What I did last summer...

I thought I'd show you a piece I did last summer. It started with an article in a newspaper about divorce rates going up after the summer holidays. Apparently beeing cramed in a caravan/boat/cabin with your spouse, children, dogs, cats and inlaws is a sure way to kill romance. Who would have thought :-)?

I used an old towel to make a "Lifebuoy for Marriages". I thought the towel gave it the right domestic touch. The words mean For Better and For Worse.

Have a nice weekend!

your "back to school" work is really fun.
and silly me i thought the words meant no lust which would explain the divorce thing :)

Annica, you are such a hoot! I love your description of this piece. And the idea. Unfortunate truth, they say spending too much time with the family, spouse or whatever causes strife.
