TIF 16

Todays drawing of an everyday item for the Take It Further Challenge.

You all have one right?! I bought my first mobile in 1998. Ten years ago! Can't belive it!

Do you remember what life was like before we had these little things? Back in the days when you actually had to be on time...

I've been reluctant to buy one, until my girls started to go out, and I had to fetch them in the middle of the night. One night, Amandine went to a party with her friend Eleonor, not far from home. Eleonor parents brought them there, I had to fetch them. Amandine told me it was easy to find the house, between a hedge and a glasshouse. Problem is that there are kilometers of hedges and glasshouses in that part of the village. They were waiting for me at a crossroad, together with other kids. I found them because I saw the small security bands on their shoes, after a lot of driving in loops. The day after, we all had a mobile. And for me, the main use is still to have my girls call me to say when and where I can find them...

I have a mobile-have done for 10 years but only 5 people know the number--me-my husband and our 3 children.

I like your drawings of the everday mundane objects and it reminds me of when we had to draw our shoes in my hs art class!
