Birthday card and a sneak peak

A couple of months ago I wrote about a piece I've been working on that I'm going to enter to a juried exhibition. Well I finished it and send it off. Still don't know if it will be accepted or not. Please keep your fingers crossed! Here's another sneak peak.

I made a birthday card for my sister. It was her birthday yesterday. I didn't want to post it here until after I had given it to her.

I needlefelted the background and then I machine stitched it. After that I needlefelted the flower and enhanced it with some handstitching. It's the size of a postcard.
