Painting scrim

Today I painted some scrim. I used acrylic paint, should probably have put much more water in it. It looks really thick and awful! I don't know what I'll do with it. Sigh!

Do you remember the workshop I took for Julia and Alex Caprara a couple of weeks ago? Everyone who was at the workshop was invited to show some of their work in a small exhibition at the end of August. The things we show there has to have something to do with what we did that weekend. I was panicing a little bit about not having anything to show. That's the reason for this painting adventure. I thought I should just start with something and then see... Well, we know now...

Do you have some silk paints or Dye-na-Flo? They should give you better results. Or even try some watered down inks maybe.

Don't give up on ot Annica, dunk it in ink, over paint it, stitch into the bits you don't like, have fun
